Once upon a time, in the kingdom of Catneverland, lived Crown Prince Monya Jr. He was the young son of King Monya the First and Queen Catsandra, and was growing up in a loving family surrounded by the finest education and training to prepare him for his role as future king.

Monya Jr. was a curious and mischievous kitten, always seeking adventure with his best friend Catjohnny, the son of his Nanny Catnancy. One day, he and Catjohnny decided to go watch the fish swimming in the lake. It would have been a fine adventure, if not for the fact that it was a cold winter and the fish were swimming under the ice. King Monya warned Monya Jr. not to go out in winter without supervision, but the young prince ignored his father’s advice.

The two kittens had great fun chasing after the colorful fish, but their excitement proved to be their undoing. The ice broke beneath their feet, and they fell into the freezing water. Lucky for them, a fisherman named Catnick was passing by and heard their frantic screams. He rescued the kittens and brought them back to the palace before they could freeze to death.

Monya Jr.’s parents were deeply upset that they almost lost their beloved son, but King Monya chose not to punish him. Instead, he sat down with Monya Jr. for a serious talk, “man to man,” and the young prince promised from the bottom of his heart to always listen to his parents’ advice and the wisdom of other cats. He understood that ignorance was not a good quality for a future leader of the kingdom.

And so, Crown Prince Monya Jr. grew up to be a wise and considerate prince, always remembering the lessons of his mischievous childhood. The kingdom of Catneverland would be in good paws under his leadership when the time comes.
